(Huntsville, AL) - The Huntsville Stars will partner with Academy Sports + Outdoors for the 2013 baseball season to bring several great youth promotions to the Huntsville/Madison County area.  As Academy Sports + Outdoors prepares to open a new store in Madison, partnering with the Stars has earned Academy Sports + Outdoors the title of the official sporting goods store of the Huntsville Stars.

Academy Sports + Outdoors will sponsor and provide gift cards to the winner of the popular on-field Superhero Race.  Additionally, before the first Friday home game each month, early arriving fans will receive spirit cards courtesy of Academy Sports + Outdoors.  Stars players will be available for pre-game autographs for early arriving fans.

Academy Sports + Outdoors will also be the official sponsor of the Huntsville Stars 2013 Youth Summer Baseball Camp which will provide baseball and softball players with professional instruction.
