Top Cardinals prospect Oscar Taveras delivered a two-run homer, his second of the spring, and a double as St. Louis topped Miami in Jupiter, Fla. The 20-year-old Taveras is batting .333 with eight RBIs in eight Grapefruit League games after earning Double-A Texas League Player of the Year honors with a .321/.380/.572 line in 2012. Cardinals No. 8 prospect Matt Adams (who was the 2011 Texas League Player of the Year) added a pinch-hit solo homer for his second blast of the spring.
