The Buffalo Bisons (0-2) lost to the Indianapolis Indians, 10-8, on Thursday afternoon from the Spring Training home of the Toronto Blue Jays in Dunedin, FL.
The Bisons had 10 total hits with 1B ADAM LOEWEN leading the way. The slugger went 2-3 with a double, a walk and three runs scored. Loewen played 59 games with the Bisons in 2012 and had 18 extra-base hits and 26RBI.
INF GABRIEL JACOBO and INF KEVIN AHRENS each had a home run and three RBI for the Bisons.
RHP RYAN TEPERA suffered the defeat for the Herd after, allowing six runs in two innings of work. He struck out two. RHP JOHN STILSON, the Blue Jays' 3rd round pick in 2011, struck out all three batters he faced in a scoreless inning of relief work.
The Herd's 16-game spring schedule will continue Friday afternoon against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs from Dunedin.
There are just 22 days until Opening Day at Coca-Cola Field, Thursday, April 4 against the Rochester Red Wings (2:05pm). All tickets and ticket packages for the 2013 season are on sale now at Bisons.com.
