While Ryan Braun continues to get post-World Baseball Classic rest, Khris Davis reaps the rewards. The Brewers' No. 16 prospect hit a solo homer in the seventh inning to give Milwaukee its only run of the contest. The outfielder has gone deep six times in Cactus League play, trailing only Atlanta's Freddie Freeman for most among all sluggers this spring. He owns a .333/.375/.756 slash line in 21 games for the Crew.

Fresh off helping the Kingdom of the Netherlands in the World Baseball Classic, Baltimore infield prospect Jonathan Schoop excelled in his third game of Spring Training action on Friday. The Curacao native collected two singles and clubbed a two-run homer against Tampa Bay right-hander Jeff Niemann. Schoop is likely to open the year at Triple-A Norfolk.
