More rain prevents Thursday doubleheader
04/18/2013 4:49 PM ET

COMSTOCK PARK, MI - The West Michigan Whitecaps and Lansing Lugnuts have been rained out for a second consecutive day on Thursday.

After Lansing won Tuesday's series-opener, 4-0, at Cooley Law School Stadium, the final two games of the set have now been postponed due to rain. No makeup dates have been scheduled at this time.

The Whitecaps have already been rained out four times this season after experiencing just one rainout in all of 2012.

The Whitecaps will be back at Fifth Third Ballpark on Friday, April 19, for a 6:35 p.m. first pitch against the South Bend Silver Hawks. The game will kickoff Dollar Days and will feature $1 popcorn. Group and individual tickets can be reserved by calling the Whitecaps front office at 616-784-4131 or visiting www.whitecapsbaseball.com.
