Tuesday's Game Postponed Due to Rain

April 23, 2013

Tuesday's series finale between the Burlington Bees and Cedar Rapids Kernels has been postponed due to rain. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader in Cedar Rapids during the May 14-May 16 series.

The weather in the Midwest continues to cause more havoc for the Bees, as Burlington will have its sixth game postponed by rain.

The Bees have played doubleheaders at Beloit and at Community Field against Beloit. Burlington still has four more doubleheaders to play, one each against Quad Cities, Peoria, Beloit and Cedar Rapids.

Entering today, there had been 31 games postponed by weather. In all of 2012, there were 28 games postponed, according to a post by the Great Lakes Loons.

Burlington will try to end its five-game losing streak on Thursday when it begins a six-game road trip at Bowling Green. The first three games will be in Bowling Green and the final three will be in Dayton. You can listen to all the action on News Radio 1490 KBUR or gobees.com
