Top Tigers prospect Nick Castellanos went 3-for-3 and fell a triple short of a cycle while plating three runs for Toledo in a 9-8 loss to Durham. The left fielder is hitting .256/.315/.427 in 21 games for the Mud Hens.

Catcher Brad Davis also went yard in the loss, while Vince Belnome went 4-for-5 with two doubles, three runs scored and an RBI for the Bulls.

No. 2 Indians prospect Trevor Bauer scattered a pair of runs on five hits and two walks while fanning eight over five innings as Columbus topped Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, 5-4. He did not factor into the decision. The right-hander has 24 strikeouts, six walks and a 2.50 ERA in 18 innings this year.

Tim Fedroff and Jeremy Hermida homered for the Clippers. The RailRiders collected a solo shot from Cody Johnson.

Omar Poveda (2-0) held Louisville to one run on four hits and two walks while striking out four in 7 2/3 frames to lead Gwinnett to a 7-1 win.

Corey Wimberly doubled twice and scored twice for the Braves and Matt Pagnozzi drove in three runs.

Jason Berken (1-1) earned his first win, yielding three runs on six hits and a walk with five strikeouts over 6 1/3 frames as Charlotte topped Norfolk, 6-5.

No. 4 White Sox prospect Carlos Sanchez doubled and drove in a run for the Knights, and Danny Valencia went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored for the Tides.
