Mets and Cardinals Game Postponed

PORT ST. LUCIE, FLA. - The scheduled Florida State League game between the St. Lucie Mets and the Palm Beach Cardinals on Saturday, May 11 at Tradition Field has been postponed due to inclement weather.

Since the Mets and Cardinals do not play each other again in the first half of the season, the game will not be made up.

Fans with tickets from Saturday night's game can exchange them at the Tradition Field ticket office for any other remaining St. Lucie Mets regular season home game during the 2013 season.

Saturday's Mother's Day special will be rescheduled for Monday, May 13 at Tradition Field. The Mets host the Brevard County Manatees at 6:30 p.m. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.

All mothers will receive free admission to the game, sponsored by Dillard's. The Mets will be holding the "Fastest Mom Contest" at 5:30 p.m. on the field with the winner receiving a $350 gift pack to Dillard's, which includes a $200 shopping spree. It's also ESPN 106.3FM "Kids Free Mondays." All kids 12 and under get in for free and get a free hot dog, soda and box of popcorn.
