Rockies prospect drives in five runs, falls single shy of cycle

Corey Dickerson homered, doubled twice and drove in five runs Saturday night as Colorado Springs outslugged Omaha, 10-7.

The Rockies' No. 16 prospect fell a single shy of the cycle while raising his average to .377. D.J. LeMahieu singled and drove in two runs to extend his hitting streak to 20 games and Matt McBride homered for the third straight game for the Sky Sox.

Max Ramirez was 3-for-5 and scored twice for the Storm Chasers.

Stefen Romero doubled, homered and drove in five runs to lead Tacoma to a 14-1 rout of New Orleans.

Rich Poythress also went yard and walked three times, while Mariners' No. 4 prospect Nick Franklin reached base four times and scored three runs for the Rainiers.

Brian Sweeney improved to 4-0 after allowing a run on three hits over 2 2/3 innings out of the Tacoma bullpen.

Phillies No. 2 prospect Ethan Martin struck out seven -- including six batters in a row -- and allowed two runs on four hits over six-plus innings to earn his third win as Lehigh Valley defeated Durham, 9-3.

Cody Asche, Philadelphia's No. 9 prospect, slugged a grand slam for the Iron Pigs, while Steve Susdorf doubled and scored twice.

Chris Archer, the Rays' No. 4 prospect, took the loss after yielding a run on three hits over three innings for the Bulls. He was removed after being hit by a batted ball.

Mark Hamilton hit a pair of solo homers to power Pawtucket to a 4-0 win over Charlotte.

Rubby De La Rosa struck out seven and gave up one hit over four innings, while Chris Hernandez fanned five innings of one-hit relief to earn the win for the Red Sox. Bryce Brentz, Boston's No. 7 prospect, doubled and singled.

White Sox No. 16 prospect Josh Phegley doubled for the Knights.
