Maybin hits go-ahead homer in 10th

Rehabbing Padre has three hits, including winning homer

Making his ninth rehab appearance in Tucson, Cameron Maybin delivered the eventual game-winning home run in the top of the eighth inning as Tucson defeated Reno, 5-4. The center fielder had three hits and also stole a base. He's hitting .323 with three home runs and a 1.093 OPS with the Triple-A Padres.

Brandon Allen had two doubles, a single and two runs for Tucson. Mike Wilson added a triple and a single, while rehabbing Logan Forsythe walked three times.

Reno's Chris Owings extended the Minor Leagues' longest hitting streak of the season to 23 games with a 2-for-5 day.

Nick Castellanos homered for the second time in three games and Danny Dorn hit a grand slam but Toledo fell to Columbus, 11-8. The homer was Castellanos' eighth of the season.

Lonnie Chisenhall was 2-for-2 with a homer, four RBIs, two runs and walked three times. Cord Phelps drove in five on three hits, including a triple.

Cody Overbeck slugged a pair of homers and collected three RBIs as Lehigh Valley posted a 4-0 shutout over Buffalo. Overbeck had three hits and has managed a .941 OPS over his past 10 games.

Tom Cochran (1-2) got the start for the IronPigs, allowing six hits with four strikeouts in five innings. Mauricio Robles aided Lehigh Valley with two scoreless frames in relief.

Chris Volstad tossed seven scoreless innings and Rockies' No. 16 prospect Corey Dickerson slugged his eighth home run as Colorado Springs blanked Salt Lake, 7-0. Volstad (3-1) struck out one and allowed four hits as he rebounded from allowing 11 runs -- 10 earned -- over 2 1/3 innings against Tacoma in his previous start.

Dickerson had two hits, raising his batting average to .348. Josh Rutledge added two doubles and three hits, and the Sky Sox also got homers from Tyler Colvin, Drew Garcia and No. 14 prospect Charlie Culberson.

Matt Angle belted a pair of home runs to help Albuquerque rout Oklahoma City, 10-2. The right fielder also walked twice and scored four runs. The 27-year-old is hitting .343 with a 1.054 OPS over his past 10 games.

Nick Buss and Dee Gordon also had two RBIs, with Buss adding a double and Gordon a triple. Elian Herrera also tripled and drove in a run, while Tony Gwynn had two hits.

Luke Montz homered, drove in six and collected four hits to help Sacramento down Tacoma, 6-2. The 29-year-old catcher has hit safely in four straight games and is batting .378 with a 1.357 OPS over his past 10 games.

Oakland's No. 3 prospect Grant Green and Jermile Weeks added two hits apiece. Travis Banwart (3-2) allowed two hits and struck out eight in six scoreless innings for the River Cats.

Center fielder Kirk Nieuwenhuis hit a pair of home runs out of the leadoff spot, including a key two-run homer in the top of the eighth, to help Las Vegas edge Fresno, 6-5. Nieuwenhuis finished with three RBIs and three runs.

Mets' No. 7 prospect Wilmer Flores added two hits and an RBI. Brandon Hicks and Brian Bixler also had two hits apiece and Bixler had a stolen base.
