SAL announces All-Star Game umpires
Venzuelan Teran will handle duties behind plate on June 18

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Eric Krupa, president of the South Atlantic League, has announced the umpires for the 54th annual SAL All-Star Game, scheduled to be played on June 18, 2013, at FirstEnergy Park in Lakewood, N.J., home of the Lakewood BlueClaws.

Working the game behind home plate will be Jorge Teran, who resides in Barquisimeto, Lara (Venezuela). Teran is in his third year of professional umpiring including experience in the Gulf Coast and New York-Penn Leagues before joining the South Atlantic League in 2013.

The first base umpire will be Clayton Hamm, who resides in Austin, Texas. Hamm is in his second year of professional baseball umpiring including experience in the Arizona and New York-Penn Leagues before joining the South Atlantic League in 2013.

Jacob Wilburn will be the second base umpire. Wilburn resides in Ft. Worth, Texas, and he is in his second year of professional baseball umpiring including experience in the Arizona and Northwest Leagues before joining the South Atlantic League in 2013.

Completing the crew, and working at third base will be Brian Peterson. Brian resides in Manchester, New Jersey. He is in his second year of professional baseball umpiring including experience in the Gulf Coast and New York-Penn Leagues before joining the South Atlantic League in 2013.
