On Thursday June 8th 2013 the Colorado Rockies selected Jonotahn Gray out of the University of Oklahoma with the 3rd pick in the 2013 First Year Player Draft. During 2013 at Oklahoma, Gray was 10-3 with a 1.64 E.R.A. in 17 games started. Gray finished as an All-American with 4 complete games. Gray finished 2013 with 147 Strikeouts and 24 walks. Gray also led his team to a regional against LSU, where he pitched 7 scoreless innings while getting the no decision.

Other draft picks joining the Grand Junciton Rockies are 2 2nd round picks in Ryan McMahon our of Mater Dei High Schol in Santa Ana, CA and Alex Balog out of the University of San Francisco. The Grand Junction Rockies are getting the Rockies 1st round pick (Gray), 2 2nd round picks (McMahon, Balog), 4th Round pick (Patterson), 5th round pick (Shouse), 6th round pick (Nunez), 8th roud pick (McClure), 12th Round pick (Waltrip), 14th Round Pick (Stamey, 15th round pick (Beck), 18th round pick (Newberry), 19th round pick (Firth), 27th round pick (Palo), and 39th round pick (Norton).

First game is Thursday June 20th at 7:05 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m.
