Despite scoring three runs in the top of the ninth inning, the Tri-City rally came up empty Wednesday night as the Dust Devils lost 4-3 to the AquaSox in the series finale. Tri-City starter Peter Tago suffered the loss, his second of the season after allowing all four of the Everett runs in the first two innings of the game.

The road trip continues for the Dust Devils as the team heads to Eugene to begin a five-game series with the Emeralds starting Thursday night. Left-hander Jayson Aquino will be on the mound for Tri-City in the series opener.
