Cardinals to Host Mets July 4-6 in FUN-Filled Holiday Series
Johnson City, TN-Join the Johnson City Cardinals, Rookie affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, for a fun-filled holiday series Thursday, July 4th to Saturday July 6th at Cardinal Park as the Cardinals take on their Tri-City rivals, the Kingsport Mets.
The series starts on Independence Day, as the Cardinals play the Mets with a special start time of 3:00pm. It will be Local Heroes Day at the ballpark, with free admission being granted to all emergency service personnel. During the game, the Johnson City Cardinals players will be wearing special Stars and Stripes hats. The hats worn by the players will be auctioned off at JCCardinals.com at a later date. There will also be a limited number of Stars and Stripes hats available for purchase at the Cardinals merchandise booth while supplies last.
Friday, July 5th will feature a Chili's Family Night Friday deal, where you can bring out the whole family for an exciting night with the Cardinals for a special discounted rate! For $20 you will receive four tickets, four hot dogs and four drinks! All fans in attendance will also receive a coupon from Chili's in Johnson City.
Friday is also Pediatric Oncology at Niswonger Children's Hospital Night, and following the game, fans in attendance will witness the first Post-Game Fireworks Show of 2013, presented by The Fresh Market and Bank of Tennessee!
The series will conclude Saturday, July 6th with Kids Night. Free admission to that night's game will be given for kids 12 and under, player autographs pre-game and the opportunity for kids to run the bases post-game! Military Appreciation Night will highlight the Cardinals game, beginning at 6:00pm, with free admission being given to active Military and Veterans.
