Dunedin, FL - One night after the Blue Jays took a tough walk-off loss to the Clearwater Threshers, it was Dunedin's turn for some late inning dramatics on the Fourth of July.

Trailing 4-3 in the bottom of the ninth, the Blue Jays loaded the bases with one out for RF Gabe Jacobo, who lined a two-run single down the right-field line to give Dunedin the walk-off win.

2B Jon Berti started the ninth with a single off closer Colton Murray (BS, 3)(L, 2-6), LF Marcus Knecht then drew a walk. Both runners moved up on a wild pitch, but CF Michael Crouse struck out looking to bring up 1B K.C. Hobson, who was intentionally walked to load the bases for Jacobo.

Dunedin's right fielder had come through earlier in the game with a game-tying home run (his third of the season) in the sixth inning.

RHP Jesse Hernandez gave up all three of his runs in the fourth inning, but was fantastic otherwise. In his longest start of the season, Hernandez went seven innings and gave up six hits with three walks and four strikeouts.

Clearwater took a 4-3 lead off LHP John Anderson (W, 3-1) in the eighth inning on Kelly Dugan's RBI fielder's choice, but Anderson responded with a strong ninth inning to get the win as Dunedin stormed back. Hernandez and Anderson held the Threshers to 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position.

Hobson and DH Oliver Dominguez each had two-hit nights, with Crouse and C Derrick Chung pitching in with hits as well.

RHP Austin Bibens-Dirkx (4-3, 3.21 ERA) will face off against LHP Mario Hollands (4-1, 1.67 ERA) tomorrow night in Clearwater at 6:30 p.m as the Jays look to take the series.
