Wheeler's four RBIs pace Sky Sox

Rockies prospect homers during three-hit performance

Sixth-ranked Rockies prospect Tim Wheeler homered, singled twice and drove in four runs Sunday to lead Colorado Springs to a 12-5 triumph over visiting Salt Lake.

Corey Dickerson, Colorado's No. 15 prospect, also homered, while Charlie Culberson -- ranked two spots ahead of Dickerson -- was 4-for-5 with two doubles, a walk and two runs scored for the Sky Sox.

Andy Wilkins crushed two homers and collected five RBIs in Charlotte's 10-2 romp over Norfolk. White Sox No. 5 prospect Carlos Sanchez doubled, singled and scored a run for the Knights.

Alex Liddi and Yamaico Navarro homered for the Tides, who got a pair of hits from Orioles No. 6 prospect L.J. Hoes.

Infielder Elevys Gonzalez pitched a scoreless 18th inning to earn the save as Albuquerque outlasted Iowa, 5-1.

With a curfew looming, Nick Buss delivered a two-run triple to cap the Isotopes' four-run 18th. He finished a homer shy of the cycle, while Dodgers No. 15 prospect Alex Castellanos smacked a solo shot and doubled.

Jae-Hoon Ha drove in the Cubs' lone run.

Rehabbing right-hander Brandon Beachy gave up a run on four hits and two walks while striking out four over four innings in Gwinnett's 2-1 loss to Durham.

J.D. Martin fanned five, walked one and allowed two hits over five scoreless innings for the Bulls, registering his International League-leading 11th win.

Leslie Anderson went 3-for-3 with a homer and two runs scored in Durham's eighth straight win.
