Pirates prospect Harold Ramirez is among seven members of the Jamestown Jammers selected to play in the New York-Penn League All-Star Game on Aug. 13.

The 18-year-old outfielder leads the circuit with 56 hits and 34 RBIs and ranks second with 19 stolen bases. Joining him in the starting lineup for the National League squad at Dodd Stadium -- home of the Connecticut Tigers -- will be Jammers shortstop Adam Frazier, who ranks first with a .451 on-base percentage.

New York-Penn League strikeout leader Miller Diaz, who is 4-1 with a 2.34 ERA for the Brooklyn Cyclones, will get the start for the NL. Opposing him for the American League All-Stars will be Vermont Lake Monsters left-hander Brent Powers, who's 4-1 with a 1.85 ERA.

Also on the AL team are Mahoning Valley Scrappers first baseman Nellie Rodriguez, who is tied for second in the league with seven homers and 54 hits and ranks fourth with 30 RBIs. Mike Yastrzemski of the Aberdeen IronBirds, the grandson of Red Sox Hall of Famer Carl Yastrzemski, will start in the outfield. He's second with a .431 OBP, fourth with a .495 slugging percentage and sixth with a .321 batting average.

Staten Island's Yeicok Calderon, who shares the league lead with eight homers, is one of three reserve outfielders on the AL roster.
