Mets Fall to Jupiter 2-1 in 10 Innings

Ryan Fisher had a game-winning single and the Jupiter Hammerheads defeated the St. Lucie Mets 2-1 in 10 innings on Sunday. Randy Fontanez surrendered four straight one-out singles in the 10th and suffered the loss. 

The Mets had evened the score in the seventh when Charley Thurber walked and scored on a Matt Reynolds RBI triple to right. 

Starter Michael Fulmer tossed 3 1/3 scoreless innings. Cody Satterwhite, Bret Mitchell and T.J. Chism combined to allow just one run in relief. 

The Mets visit the Palm Beach Cardinals on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Rainy Lara is the scheduled starter fo rthe Mets.
