Cutters Bullpen Surrenders Win
Shane Martin Works Five Scoreless

JAMESTOWN, NY - For the second straight day, the Jammers use a rally in the late innings against the Cutters bullpen to earn come from behind win, 4-1.

Williamsport would get on the board in the top of the 1st inning. Andrew Pullin ripped his 13 double of the season with one out off of Chad Kuhl to get into scoring position. Zach Green would plate Pullin with an opposite field bloop single to make it 1-0. For Green it was 35th RBI of the season.

Jamestown would explode with two outs in the 7th inning against Manny Martinez. Adam Landecker got the scoreing going with an RBI single to left center that plated Edwin Espinal to tie the game 1-1. On the play, Herlis Rodrigez committed an error that would allow Michael Fransoso to score the go ahead run to make it 2-1. The next batter, Elvis Escobar drilled his 1st home run of the season off the scoreboard in right plated Landecker and gave the Jammers a 4-1 lead heading into the 8th inning.

That would be all the scoring that the Jammers would need as they would use a late inning rally against the Cutters bullpen to win a ball game.

Jammers starting pitcher Chad Kuhl would go five innings, allowing one run on five hits. Kuhl did not walk a batter and struck out three. He left while on the hook for the loss. Jackson Lodge would work a scoreless inning of relief, allowing one hit, in the 6th. Roberto Estrada would work a scoreless, hitless inning of rlief in the 7th inning. Henry Hirsch would work a scoreless inning of relief in the 8th inning. Hirsch worked out of trouble after hitting a batter and allowing a walk. Brett McKinney entered in the top of the 9th. He would work around a walk and a single to earn his 10th save in 10 tries.

Cutters starting pitcher Shane Martin went five innings of scoreless baseball. Martin allowed three hits and a walk while striking out two. Martin left with the lead. Manny Martinez replaced Martin in the 6th inning. Martinez would allow four runs in 1.2 innings of relief on three hits. Martinez would take the loss.

Cutters Carvings: Cutters starters worked 11 scoreless innings in the last two games of this three game series… Escobar's home run was the first extra-base hit for the Jammers in the series…
