Toronto Blue Jays LHP LUIS PEREZ has joined the Buffalo Bisons on an MLB injury rehabilitation assignment.

Perez, 28, had 'Tommy John' surgery in July of 2012 after going 2-2 with a 3.42 ERA in 35 games with the Blue Jays last season (42.0 IP, 39 SO). The southpaw appeared in one game for Single-A Dunedin on June 10 (2.0 IP, SO), but then did not pitch again until a three-game stint with the team, August 16-24 (4.0 IP, 4 H, R, 2 BB, 4 SO).
