Rock Shoulders Named MWL Post-Season All-Star

GENEVA, IL - The Kane County Cougars, in conjunction with the Midwest League office, have announced that DH/1B Rock Shoulders has been named a Midwest League Post-Season All-Star, as selected by the field managers of the 16 Midwest League teams. Shoulders, selected at the DH position, was also named a Midwest League Mid-Season All-Star and participated in the league's All-Star Game held in Dayton this past June. Shoulders joins Cougars alumni such as Miguel Cabrera, Adrian Gonzalez, Dontrelle Willis and Kevin Millar as former Cougars who received both awards in the same season. A total of 25 former Cougars have received both awards in franchise history.

Shoulders leads the Cougars with 18 home runs and 71 RBI, and was named the Cubs organizational Minor League Player of the Month in April.
