JACKSONVILLE, Fla.  - Jacksonville Suns Senior Director of Business Administration Barbara O'Berry has been named the Southern League "Woman of Excellence" for the 2013 season, as voted by the league's general managers, announced by the league office.

O'Berry is the Southern League's nominee for the Rawlings Woman Executive of the Year Award, which will be presented by Minor League Baseball at the 2013 Winter Meetings in Orlando, Fla., from Dec. 9-12.

O'Berry is the third woman in the Suns organization to receive this recognition, joining Karlie Evatt (2007) and January Putt (2012).
