LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Louisville Bats and Cincinnati Reds will host an exhibition game at Louisville Slugger Field on Saturday, March 29, 2014. The game will give fans the first glimpse of the 2014 Cincinnati Reds playing against the Bats in their final preseason game leading up to Opening Day. All fans with a paid ticket for admission will receive a free Cincinnati Reds cap when entering the stadium. The game will be played on Saturday afternoon with a specific time to be announced at a later date.
"We're excited to be able to finish off our 2014 spring training schedule with an exhibition in Louisville," said Reds President of Baseball Operations and General Manager Walt Jocketty. "The Bats have one of the strongest fan bases in the minor leagues, and we're happy they'll be able to watch in person some of the Major League players who recently came through there. Gary Ulmer and his staff do a tremendous job and play an important role in the development of our players."
Bats full season and mini-plan ticket holders will have first priority to purchase Reds exhibition game tickets. A special "Big Red" three-game ticket package will also be offered starting at $34. The "Big Red" package will include priority seating for the exhibition game as well as two Saturday night Bats games featuring the Homer Bailey (June 14) and Joey Votto (August 2) bobblehead giveaways to the first 3,000 fans in attendance.
Single game tickets for the Reds exhibition game featuring the free Reds cap giveaway and all Bats regular season home games will go on sale to the general public November 1 at 10 a.m. Reserved seat tickets for the Reds exhibition game start at $14; premium infield seats will be available for $25.

The Reds' last exhibition game at Louisville Slugger Field was in 2005.
