ROUND ROCK, Texas - Round Rock Express Head Groundskeeper Garrett Reddehase and the grounds crew at Dell Diamond were honored with a Presidential Commendation for groundskeeping for their continued work and dedication to the playing surface at Dell Diamond by Pacific Coast League President Branch Rickey III.

This is the third consecutive year Reddehase and his crew have been recognized for their work. In 2012, Reddehase was honored as the PCL Sports Turf Manager of the Year. He also earned a Presidential Commendation in 2011.

Reddehase, a Temple, Texas native, is in his third season with the Express. He also heads up Ryan-Sanders Sports Turf Services which works to build and renovate sports fields throughout Texas. Prior to joining the Express, Reddehase was the head groundskeeper for the Corpus Christi Hooks (Double-A Houston) where he earned Texas League Turf Manager of the Year honors in 2009.

In addition to the Express' 72-game regular season schedule, Reddehase and his crew are responsible for numerous other high school and charity baseball and softball games, concerts and other events hosted at Dell Diamond including the University Interscholastic League state tournament and the Central Texas Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Game.

Reddehase is assisted by Philip Grefrath and crew leader Bill Mitchell along with game day crew members.
