Kroger donates lean ground beef for Clippers strikeouts

The 2013 Ohio Beef Council "Striking Out Hunger" Campaign helps those in need! Tuesday, October 1st Kroger delivered two pounds of Lean Ground Beef, to the Mid-Ohio Food Bank, for each of the 1,239 strikeouts recorded by Clippers Pitchers during the 2013 season. One pound of Lean Ground Beef prepares four hot meals. Kroger's donation of 2,478 pounds of Lean Ground Beef will prepare a total of 9,912 meals for those in need. The Clippers would like to thank the Ohio Beef Council, Kroger, the Ohio Soy Council, the Ohio Corn Marketing Program and the Mid-Ohio Food Bank for their sponsorship of the 2013 "Striking Out Hunger" Campaign.
