Bonifacio Selected to Fall League All-Star Team
Naturals RF represents Royals in Showcase

SPRINGDALE, AR - Jorge Bonifacio will compete for the West Division All-Stars in the Arizona Fall League's 8th Annual Fall Star Game. The League announced today that the Naturals Outfielder would be the Kansas City Royals lone representative in the showcase on Saturday, November 2nd at Surprise Stadium in Surprise, AZ at 7pm/CT.

The 20-year-old Bonifacio is 10-for-39 with 4 doubles through 11 games with the Peoria Javelinas, an Arizona Fall League team comprised of select prospects from the Royals, Astros, Phillies, Mariners, Indians, and Padres.

In 25 games with the Naturals earlier this season, Bonifacio hit .301 with 7 doubles, 2 homeruns, and 19 RBI. Baseball America ranked the younger brother of Royals Infielder Emilio Bonifacio as the #2 position-player prospect in the Kansas City Organization.

The game will be televised live on MLB Network and on MLB.com. 

The Arizona Fall League was created by Major League Baseball in 1992 to serve it clubs with another avenue for selected top prospects to gain further opportunities for instruction and experience. The season begins on Tuesday October 8th and culminates with the Championship Game on November 16th.

This season the Naturals are among 26 MiLB clubs partnering with the Arizona Fall League in its inaugural outreach program.

The Seventh Season of Naturals Baseball begins Thursday, April 3, 2014 in Frisco, TX. The team opens at Arvest Ballpark on Thursday April 10, 2014 against the same Frisco Rough Riders.
