How did you get started working in sports?

The Idaho Steelheads gave me my start!

What is the best moment in sports according to you?

Being a part of two Idaho Steelheads Kelly Cup Championships! The Miracle on Ice - 1980 US Olympic Hockey team defeats the USSR and goes on to win the Gold Medal ranks right up there as well!

What is your favorite part of working in baseball?

It's baseball, who doesn't understand and love the game? Its Americas pastime and national sport and everyone can enjoy a day at the ballpark watching the boys of summer play ball!

What advice do you have for those interested in working in sports?

Be prepared mentally and physically to grind it out. While it's incredibly fun and cool to work in a professional sports environment, be prepared for what it takes to be successful, and that's long hours and hard work. The rewards of being part of a winning team both on/off the field are definitely worth it!

What is one thing people don't know about one of your co-workers?

That I work with a doctor who has chosen to work in/around sports rather than practice medicine.

If you didn't work in sports, what would you be doing?

Wanting to work in sports J

What do you enjoy doing when you aren't working?

Spending time with my lovely wife and family! My wife is a celebrated chef/caterer and we enjoy dining out, trying new foods and travel. Our children are very active in school and sports and we try as parents to make every single event our children are involved in.

What are 3 things you can't live without?

Family (my everything), Sports (for sanity) and my phone (sad, I know).

If you could "un-invent" one thing, what would it be and why?

The "instigator" rule in hockey. If someone steps out of line a game and does something dirty, a player should be able to hand out the requisite punishment and police his own sport without an additional "instigator" penalty. I'm old school like that.
