The Ultimate Pitching Camp Dec 15 & Dec 21

The Hudson Valley Renegades are excited to partner with Hit & Run Sports to present "The Ultimate Pitching Camp" beginning December 15, 2013 at Hit and Run Sports located in Poughkeepsie, NY. Camp will be coached by Renegades Front Office member and former Major League Baseball Pitch, Rob Bell. Rob will be joined by current minor league pitcher Sean Lucas (Cincinnati Red organization), and All-American pitch Seth Lamando from Coastal Carolina. 

Camps will be held at Hit and Run Sports December 15, 2013 and December 21, 2013. 

9-12 Years Old: 9am-12pm
13-18 Years Old: 1pm-4pm

Cost of "The Ultimate Pitching Camp" is $180 per player per camp. To reserve your child's place in the camp, contact Hit & Run Sports at 845-838-0900. Limited space avaiable. Hit & Run Sports is located at 60 Firemens Way Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. 

What Your Will Learn:

  • Proper Way to Avoid Injury to Your Arm, Elbow and/or Shoulder; (1) Going thru the dynamics of stretching and exercise to build strength and conditioning, (2) The proper way to warm up (3) How to prepare for your next time on the mound. 

 

  • Pitching Mechanics; (1) Balance, timing and thythm and how this all relates to celocity command and movement, (2) Proper grips on the ball to help you throw more strikes and gain movement on your ball (3) How to field the pitchers position (4) What you are supposed to do on backing up throws, (5) Covering the bag at first (6) Bunt coverage. 

 

  • The Mental and Emotional Aspects of Pitching; (1) How to keep calm and poised on the mound (2) How to deal with the fear and emotion of pitching, (3) Building confidence to become the ace of the staff.
