St. Petersburg, FL (November 20, 2013) - Minor League Baseball™ and the Topps Company announced today that Tyler Glasnow was selected as one of the nine players for the Topps Class A® All-Star Team. Glasnow, a South Atlantic League All-Star in 2013, was selected by Pittsburgh in the fifth round of the 2011 draft. 

Glasnow compiled a 9-3 record for West Virginia during the 2013 season. He struck out a league-high and franchise record 164 batters during a campaign that saw him honored as a mid-season and annual All-Star by the league. 

Several other players who saw time in the South Atlantic League during the 2013 season were also chosen for this as part of the Class-A All-Star Team. 

Joey Gallo led Minor League Baseball with 38 home runs while playing for the Hickory Crawdads. Rosell Herrera hit .343 for Asheville to lead the South Atlantic League and was honored as the Most Valuable Player for his body of work. Micah Johnson stole 61 bases for Kannapolis over 77 games before a promotion to Advanced-A Winston-Salem.
