The Toronto Blue Jays announced that they have signed INF JARED GOEDERT and RHP TOMO OHKA to minor league contracts with invitations to major league spring camp. Toronto also announced that they have re-signed RHP BOBBY KORECKY.

GOEDERT, 28, played 130 games for the Indianapolis Indians in 2013 and hit .241 (112-464) with 32 doubles, 11 home runs and 62 RBI. His 45 total extra-base hits ranked second on the Indians' roster. Goedert has hit 60 home runs in the International League over the last four seasons, appearing in 244 games with the Columbus Clippers from 2010-2012. Goedert is career .271-hitter in 825 career minor league games.

OHKA, 37, last appeared in the Major Leagues in 2009 with Cleveland prior to pitching in Japan since 2010. The Kyoto, Japan native enjoyed a 10-year Major League career, including part of the 2007 season with Toronto and in 202 games (178 starts) owns a career 51-78 record and a 4.26 ERA.

KORECKY, 34, spent last season with the Bisons and was 3-0 with a 4.45 ERA in 24 relief appearances and two starts with the Herd. The righty struck out 39 batters and walked just 15 in 56.2 innings of work for Buffalo. Korecky has pitched in the Blue Jays system for three straight years, including a late season appearance for Toronto in 2012. The veteran has saved 157 games in his minor league career, including a Rochester Red Wings single-season record 35 during the 2007 campaign.
