Game times announced for 2014 season

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (Jan. 14, 2014) - The Kannapolis Intimidators have set game times for the team's 70 home games during the 2014 season, the 20th year of baseball in Kannapolis. The Intimidators, Class A Affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, will continue to start Monday through Saturday games at 7:05 p.m. with gates opening at 6 p.m. while Sunday games will start at 5:05 p.m. with gates opening at 4 p.m. Season tickets as well as single-game tickets in select sections are currently on sale by calling the F&M Bank Box Office at (704) 932-3267. 

The Intimidators will also host six day-games during the 2014 season with special start times, including two Education Day games on Wednesday, April 9 against the Hickory Crawdads, and Wednesday, April 30 against the West Virginia Power. Both games will start at 10:05 a.m. The team's annual Camp Day game will be Monday, July 21, at 12:05 p.m. against the Lakewood BlueClaws. Kannapolis will also host the Lexington Legends at 12:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 13.

On Father's Day - Sunday, June 15 - the Intimidators will play ball starting at 2:05 p.m. after allowing dads and their children to play catch on the field leading up to the game. The team will celebrate the season finale on Labor Day - Monday, Sept. 1 - with a special 1:05 p.m. start time along with hosting the team's annual Labor Day Picnic in the Park with a special all-you-can-eat picnic menu available for only $10 per person.

The Kannapolis Intimidators are preparing for the team's 20th season of professional baseball in our community and 14th as a White Sox affiliate. Opening Day of the 2014 campaign is on Thursday, April 3, against the Greenville Drive (Boston Red Sox). The Intimidators play at CMC-NorthEast Stadium, located off I-85 at exit 63.
