Spokane Indians Managing Partner Bobby Brett has been re-elected for his second three-year term as a member of Minor League Baseball's Board of Trustees. The board, which consists of 17 representatives from MiLB, meets at least twice a year to determine policies and enact rules and regulations which shall be necessary and proper for executing objectives of the National Association.

"It's an honor to be re-elected and to be a part of this board for a second-straight term," said Brett, who has owned and operated the Spokane Indians since 1985.

Bobby has since helped the team become one of the most successful Minor League Baseball franchises in the nation. Last season, the team averaged 5,064 fans per game - its highest average in the 111-year history of the Indians - making Spokane the third-highest attended Short-Season Class A baseball team in the country.

Aside from his work with the Indians, Bobby owns and operates the WHL's Spokane Chiefs and the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, an affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers. He is also heavily involved in the real estate business, both in Spokane and in Southern California, and is a part owner of the Brett Brothers Bat Company.

The Spokane Indians open the 2014 regular season on Friday, June 13th at Avista Stadium against the Eugene Emeralds.
