Z's open spring training schedule March 13th
The New Orleans Zephyrs have announced their 2014 spring training schedule, which will consist of 12 games beginning on Thursday, March 13.
New Orleans will play six games against the Memphis Redbirds, a preview of a new division rivalry as Memphis joins the PCL's American South Division in 2014, in addition to six games against the Las Vegas 51s.
The Zephyrs' Major League affiliate, the Miami Marlins, hosts spring training at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Florida, where the Z's will play nine of their 12 Grapefruit League contests. The other three games will be in St. Lucie, spring training home of the New York Mets.

The Zephyrs will break camp on Sunday, March 30 in preparation for Opening Day at Zephyr Field on Thursday, April 3, a 7 p.m. start against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox.
