Haniger plates two runs in Brewers' win
Braves prospects contribute in big way, despite loss to Nationals

Brewers No. 12 prospect Mitch Haniger continued his production from the fall, driving in two runs and scoring another in Milwaukee's 6-5 win over Los Angeles. His two-run single in the sixth inning came off the Dodgers No. 6 prospect Chris Reed. A 2012 first-round pick, Haniger has three RBIs this spring after leading the Arizona Fall League with 24.

So much for the pitchers being ahead of the hitters. The Spring Training saying was put to the test Saturday as Braves and Nationals hitters combined for 31 runs and 37 hits in a hitter-friendly Grapefruit League affair. Braves prospects Matt Lipka and Tommy La Stella both went 3-for-6 in the loss with the former adding four RBIs (three of which came in a nine-run fifth inning) and the latter three runs scored in the loss.
