In a game that began with an RBI from slugger Robinson Cano, it was Indians top prospect Francisco Lindor who made the biggest impact. With the score tied, 3-3, MLB.com's No. 10 overall prospect slugged a pinch three-run homer. Trevor Bauer, Cleveland's top pitching prospect, tossed a perfect inning before surrendering a two-run homer to Dustin Ackley in the fourth.

The defending World Series champions are expected to get an influx of youth in 2014, but if Sunday was any indication, a decrease in production to coincide with the one in age is not to be expected. Xander Bogaerts and Jackie Bradley -- the club's top two position prospects and expected Opening Day starters -- both went 2-for-3 and contributed a double apiece in Boston's win over the Orioles. No. 9 prospect Bryce Brentz, who is likely to start back at Triple-A Pawtucket, added an RBI and a run scored of his own. The game also featured Orioles prospect Mike Yastrzemski, grandson of Red Sox great and player development consultant Carl Yastrzemski, who went 0-for-1 with a walk and a run scored.
