Generals and Smokies Postponed on Tuesday
KODAK, TENN. (APRIL 15, 2014) - Tuesday's 11:00 a.m. CT game between the Tennessee Smokies and Jackson Generals has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Thursday night, with the first game beginning at 4:30 p.m. CT. Each game will be seven innings.
The Generals and Smokies will play next on Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. CT, for what will now be game two of the five-game series. RHP Trevor Miller (0-1, 5.19) will get the start for Jackson against a to be determined starter for the Smokies.
The Generals return to the Ballpark at Jackson on Saturday to kickoff a homestand against the Chattanooga Lookouts. The Ballpark at Jackson will hold a Half-way to Halloween event, Educators Appreciation Night, a Beyond Blame Post-Game Concert and the second fireworks show of the season.
