Suns Aim To Even Series in Chattanooga
Night Baseball Returns With 7:15 p.m. ET First Pitch
04/17/2014 1:49 PM ET

It is back to night baseball for the Suns and Lookouts in game four of the series. Jacksonville hopes to also be back in the win column. If the Suns can pick up their second victory of the series, it would set up a rubber match tomorrow night to close out the season's first road trip. Both of the reaming contests in Chattanooga have a scheduled start time of 7:15 p.m. ET.

The Suns are counting on Justin Nicolino (0-2, 4.82) to reclaim his 2013 form on Thursday. Nicolino was named most valuable pitcher in the Florida State League last season during his time with Jupiter. The left-hander has already proven he can be effective at the Double-A level, shutting down the Birmingham Barons on August 16 with a six inning, 13 strikeout performance which earned him Southern League Pitcher of the Week honors.

A late roster move by the Lookouts which placed scheduled starter Andres Santiago on the disabled list creates an opportunity for right-hander Raydel Sanchez (0-0, 0.00) to climb the hill for the home team. The seasoned minor leaguer will be making his first start of the new campaign tonight.

The clubs played two five game series at each team's home yard a year ago, nearly splitting the contests right down the middle. Chattanooga held a slim 10-9 advantage in nineteen games played (a twentieth game was on the schedule, but was ultimately cancelled due to weather). Both teams fared well at home, with the Lookouts winning seven of the nine games played at AT&T Field.

Chattanooga will try to claim the series in just four games tonight in front of the AT&T field faithful. The Lookouts hold a 2-1 advantage in the five game set following yesterday afternoon's 5-4 victory. Jacksonville's only win in the series so far came in shutout fashion with a 4-0 win on Tuesday.

Fans can listen to tonight's game live on the Suns Baseball Network, with the "Voice of the Suns" Roger Hoover providing play by play. Hoover is now in his third season as Jacksonville's Director of Broadcasting. He is assisted by Michael West and Jason Patterson. West and Patterson will host the Memorial Hospital Suns Pregame Show beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET on the Suns Baseball Network.
