TACOMA, Wash. -- The Tacoma Rainiers took both games of a doubleheader played against the Albuquerque Isotopes in front of 6,174 fans at Cheney Stadium on Friday night.

Ty Kelly and Jabari Blash helped guide the Rainiers to a 5-3 win over the Isotopes in the first half of the double dip. Tacoma trailed 1-0 before Kelly lifted a three-run home run in the second inning - the infielder's seventh homer this season. After the Isotopes tied the score at three in the top of the fourth, Blash delivered a go-ahead RBI double in the bottom of the frame, ultimately putting Tacoma on top for good.

Reliever Todd Coffey (1-0) earned his first win since April 7, 2012 after holding the 'Topes scoreless on two hits in one inning of work in the fifth. Right-hander Brandon Maurer struck out one in one perfect inning of action in the seventh en route to collecting the first save of his professional career.

Starter Andrew Carraway surrendered three runs on six hits in four innings. The right-hander struck out three and walked one in his team-leading 11th turn in the Rainiers rotation.

Blash provided an early spark in the Rainiers 4-2 win in the second game of the set. The outfielder erased a 1-0 deficit with a two-run home run in the second inning - his ninth homer of the season and fourth in his last four games.

Tacoma stretched the lead to 4-1 after tallying two more runs in the fifth. Logan Morrison drove in Xavier Avery with an RBI double and then scored on a balk committed by 'Topes pitcher Pedro Baez.

Reliever Logan Kensing (2-0) allowed one unearned run on one hit in 2.0 innings and collected the win. Carson Smith recorded his fourth save this season after tossing a flawless frame in the seventh.

The Rainiers (25-35) host the fourth game of a five-game series against Albuquerque (28-33) at 5:05 p.m. tomorrow, June 7. Right-hander Jordan Pries (3-4, 2.79) is expected to start for Tacoma in the contest against Isotopes right-hander Red Patterson (2-5, 4.61).
