06/12/2014 9:37 PM ET

JACKSON, TENN. (JUNE 12, 2014) - The Generals and Suns 7:05 p.m. scheduled game on Thursday has been postponed due to rain. The two clubs will play a doubleheader on Friday. The twin bill will feature two seven-inning games, with game one beginning at 5:05 p.m. and game two to follow 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.

Any fan with a ticket to Thursday's game may exchange it for any other game during the 2014 regular season. Since Thursday's Dollar Night was postponed, fans can enjoy $1 concession items throughout the night on Friday. Tickets will not be reduced on Friday. It is also Flat Screen Friday with a lucky fan leaving with a brand new 50 inch television.

This was just the fourth rainout this season and Friday's doubleheader will be just the third of the season (2-2). Friday's doubleheader will be the first played this season at The Ballpark at Jackson.

The Generals will send to the mound RHP Matt Anderson (1-2, 5.83) in game one and RHP Victor Sanchez (2-2, 4.82) in game two. Jacksonville will start LHP Chipper Smith (2-1, 1.84) in game one and LHP Justin Nicolino (5-2, 3.29) in the nightcap.

The Generals are the Double-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners and a member of the Southern League. Individual game tickets and group packages with the Generals are on sale. For more information and to reserve your seats at the Ballpark call 731-988-5299 or visit www.jacksongeneralsbaseball.com.
