Claimed off waivers by Atlanta from the Boston Red Sox on November 30, 2012, Carpenter went 4-1 with a 1.78 ERA in 56 relief outings for the Braves last season. He returns to Triple-A for the first time since the start of 2013, when he went 1-2 with a 3.52 ERA in six relief outings for the G-Braves.
Schlosser, 25, went 4-3 with a 4.39 ERA (27 ER in 55.1 IP) in 10 starts for Gwinnett after being optioned to the club on May 2. He began the season on Atlanta's Opening Day roster, going 0-1 with a 4.91 ERA (6 ER in 11.0 IP) in nine relief outings during his Major League debut stint. Schlosser was selected by the Braves in the 17th round of the 2011 June draft out of Florida Southern College.
