P-Nats and Wilmington Forced Into Doubleheader

Woodbridge, VA --- The Potomac Nationals (8-9) and Wilmington Blue Rocks (9-9) were postponed on Tuesday night due to severe weather in the area. A doubleheader is scheduled for Wednesday, July 9th at Pfitzner Stadium.

Gates will open for the doubleheader at 4:30pm with the first pitch set for 5:00pm. Both games will be seven innings in length. Fans can exchange their ticket for tonight's game at the box office for any P-Nats regular season game.

The Potomac Nationals Baseball Network, which is accessible at www.potomacnationals.com, will broadcast the second and third game of a four game series against Wilmington on Wednesday, July 9th. Broadcast coverage will begin with the P-Nats Leadoff Show at 4:45pm in preparation for the 5:00pm start of game one. The P-Nats will send RHP Brian Rauh (1-1, 5.08) and RHP Dakota Bacus (3-4, 3.76) to the mound for the seven-innings affairs while Wilmington will throw LHP Sean Manaea (2-7, 4.75) and LHP Brandon Finnegan (0-0, 0.00).

The Potomac Nationals of the Carolina League play at Pfitzner Stadium in Woodbridge, Virginia, and are the Class-A Advanced affiliate of the Washington Nationals.
