Series Sweep Goes To Rain, P-Nats And Red Sox PPD Again

Salem, VA --- The Potomac Nationals and Salem Red Sox were rained out for the third consecutive day on Sunday afternoon.

The rainout was the second straight day the two teams did not get to play a scheduled doubleheader. The original three-game series between these two teams at Pfitzner Stadium starting on Tuesday will now be a five-game set with a pair of doubleheaders played on Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday's doubleheader will begin at 5 PM on a Two-For-Tuesday at The Pfitz. Potomac will send LHP Hector Silvestre (1-0, 3.55) and RHP Dakota Bacus (4-6, 4.49) to the mound on Tuesday night while Salem will throw RHP Joe Gunkel (2-4, 3.83) and RHP Pat Light (5-5, 4.99)
