The Final Five Games: No. 5 Thursday, August 28th
Fresno Grizzlies take on the Tacoma Rainiers at 7:05 p.m. PT at Chukchansi Park
08/25/2014 7:55 PM ET

FRESNO, Calif. - A zany way to enter this week's Tecate Thursday highlights the fifth remaining home game of the season. Outside of Chukchansi Park's Gate 1 entrance (corner of Tulare and H) on Thursday, August 28th beginning at 6:05 p.m. will be a Lucha Xtreme wrestler challenging all comers in paper-rock-scissors. The reward is straightforward. Beat the wrestler and earn a complimentary ticket into that night's game.

"I highly doubt a fan can say they've entered a professional sporting event by winning at Ro Sham Bo, much less by defeating a professional wrestler in the process." stated Sam Hansen, Fresno Grizzlies Marketing Creative Manager. "We're always looking to give fans a new experience at the ballpark and this is a promotion that'll give them a memorable story to tell."

Thursday also marks the final Tecate Thursday of the season. Fans 21 and older can indulge in $2 24-ounce Tecate and Tecate Light from the time gates open at 6:05 p.m. through the end of the fifth inning. All fans can purchase $1 12-ounce sodas throughout the entire evening.

The game also is the start of the "5-4-3-2-1" promotion, which counts down the remaining home games by offering fans the ability to purchase Super View tickets for Thursday, August 28th for $5, Friday for $4, Saturday for $3, Sunday for $2 and Monday for $1. The ticket special can only be purchased in person at the Chukchansi Park Box Office, which is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Limited quantities are available, so fans are urged to act quickly.
