"Special thanks to Jeff Katofsky and Justo Vasquez for their efforts in making this possible. We have had long and fruitful partnership and we very much look forward to the future with Orem!"
"Working with the Angels has been incredible, it is the only team I have had a chance to work with, and I wouldn't have it any other way," Owlz general manager Justo Vazquez said. "You only get a handful of chances to work with first class organizations like the Angels, and I plan on enjoying it."
The Angels have had 62 future major league players pass through the Orem Owlz/Provo Angels organization. That list includes current Angels Garrett Richards, Kole Calhoun, Efren Navarro, Erick Aybar, Howie Kendrick, Mike Morin and Tyler Skaggs.
