MiLB announces staff additions, promotions

Hunzeker joins marketing team as Vice President, Marketing Strategy

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Minor League Baseball today announced two promotions and two additions to the Minor League Baseball sales and marketing staff.

Kurt Hunzeker has been named Vice President, Marketing Strategy of Minor League Baseball. In his new role, he will develop a strategic plan to identify new clients and partners for the marketing arm of Minor League Baseball, MiLB Enterprises. Hunzeker joins the Minor League Baseball staff after four years as Senior Director of Brand Marketing for the Rawlings Sporting Goods Company, where he led global brand development and media buying efforts.

Heather Raburn, who has served as a Senior Account Manager since 2008, has been promoted to Assistant Director, Account Services. She joined the MiLB staff in 2005.

Gabe Rendon, who has served as Sales and Account Coordinator since joining MiLB in 2013, has been promoted to Manager, Sales and Account Services.

Michelle Jurado has been hired as Executive Assistant, Marketing for Minor League Baseball. Jurado will assist with project management efforts, communications with clubs and relationships with Minor League Baseball vendors. Jurado joined the staff this month.
