Superheroes and Comic-Con Invade Ballpark, July 1

Theme Night Features Special Deck Party Package; Fans Encouraged To Dress In Costume

GENEVA, Ill. - No villain will dare to trespass on the premises of Fifth Third Bank Ballpark as the Cougars celebrate Superhero and Comic-Con Night, presented by All Dressed Up, on Friday, July 1 when they take on the Quad Cities River Bandits in a 6:30 p.m. game. Coolpix Mobile Studio will be set up on the main concourse for fans to get their picture taken against a Superhero and Comic-Con themed backdrop. The photos will then be available to print, email or share on social media free of charge.

The night will feature an exclusive Superhero and Comic-Con themed deck and costume party held on the Right Field Patio Deck. Fans will be treated to a special food and beverage package including hot dogs, burgers, "SUPER" pretzels, Superhero-colored Sprite and popcorn bags plus a private meet and greet with Batman and Superman. In addition, deck party attendees will be given special access onto the field to enjoy a spectacular view of the post-game fireworks show. Tickets for the Superhero and Comic-Con Deck Party can be purchased for $29 per person. All fans in attendance are highly encouraged to dress in costume as their favorite Superhero or Comic-Con character to participate in events throughout the night including a pre-game costume parade which will be led by Batman and Superman. 

In-game entertainment will also be provided by "America's Ballpark Prankster", BirdZerk! The entertaining whirlybird will provide a spontaneous, outrageous and unpredictable comedic routine in between innings. A Superhero and Comic-Con themed fireworks show will light up the sky after the game and fans of all ages will be given the opportunity to run the bases.
