August 17, 2016

DANVILLE, Va. - Tuesday night's game between the Braves and Burlington Royals was suspended with one out in the bottom of the eighth inning after the power went out at Legion Field as part of an outage affecting numerous locations throughout the city of Danville. The Royals were leading 4-1 at the time.

The game will be completed on August 30 at 5 p.m. when the Royals return to Danville. The two teams will play their regularly-scheduled nine inning game 30 minutes after the completion of the suspended contest.

The Braves are off on Wednesday but will host the Greeneville Astros on Thursday at 7pm on Thirsty Thursday presented by Buffalo Wild Wings. There will also be live music from Jason Springs before the game.
