Cutters Renew Agreement with ESPN Williamsport for 2017

September 2, 2016

The Williamsport Crosscutters and ESPN Radio Williamsport have jointly announced an extension of their partnership agreement for the 2017 season.

The agreement continues the association that began in 2008 and assures that, for the tenth straight year, all Crosscutters games, both home and away, will continue to be heard on ESPN Williamsport frequencies 1050 & 1600 AM and 92.7 & 104.1FM. All broadcasts are also available online at www.crosscutters.com and can be accessed via computer, tablet or iPhone.

"The Cutters are happy to have ESPN Williamsport as our radio home for a tenth year in a row," stated Cutters VP of Marketing & PR Gabe Sinicropi. "It's extremely important for us to have all of our games broadcast not only locally, but to fans across the country and around the world who annually follow the Phillies prospects on our team and the ESPN Williamsport crew continues to do a great job."

Todd Bartley, Owner and General Manager of ESPN Radio Williamsport, will continue his role as the lead play-by-play voice of the team and is joined in the broadcast booth by Ian Catherine.

"It's hard to believe that in 2017 we will celebrate 10 years of Cutters baseball on ESPN Williamsport," Bartley stated. "The Cutters staff and ownership have stood by me and the station over the past several years and have never wavered with their support of myself or my staff. We look forward to continuing this very special relationship for another decade."

The Crosscutters recently announced a two-year extension of their Player Development Contract with the Philadelphia Phillies covering the 2017 and 2018 seasons and a four-year extension of their lease with the City of Williamsport for the use of BB&T Ballpark through the 2020 season.
