AUBURN, NY - The Auburn Doubledays of the New York-Penn League, Single-A Short Season affiliate of the Washington Nationals, are pleased to announce that a total of 52,811 fans attended 37 home games at Falcon Park this season, an average of 1,427 per game.

Auburn is one of three New York-Penn League franchises to realize an increase in per-game average attendance this season (Tri-City and Vermont) and this season also marks the third straight year of attendance growth for the Doubledays, a feat matched by only one other NYPL club (Tri-City).

A season-high 2,938 fans enjoyed the Doubledays' July 4 victory over Lowell, one of six crowds larger than 2,000 fans this season.

Average attendance for Doubledays home games has increased 23.2% per game in three seasons under the direction of the current management team led by General Manager Mike Voutsinas.

"We are very thankful for the outstanding support we have received from our fans and the community," Voutsinas said. "Our staff has worked tirelessly to improve the Falcon Park experience and it is very rewarding to see the results of that hard work."

Season tickets and flex plans for the 2017 season are on sale now and can be purchased in person at Falcon Park or by calling 315-255-2489.
