Entertainment Set for the Trenton Thunder World Famous Case's Pork Roll Eating Championship on Saturday

The 2016 Trenton Thunder World Famous Case's Pork Roll Eating Championship will host a wide variety of fun-filled activities, including a Corn Hole Tournament presented by Sonic, a Wiffle Ball Hitting Challenge presented by Dick's Sporting Goods and a draft beer selection for the ages when it takes place on Saturday, September 24 from 12-4pm at ARM & HAMMER Park. 

The entertainment for the day will be headlined by The Polish Nannies, a local cover band from Hamilton, NJ. The group will play from 1-2:45pm covering songs across all genres. In addition, acoustic artist Erik Krieg will open up the live music performances from noon until 12:45pm. A self-taught singer/songwriter, Krieg attended Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ and has performed at numerous open-mic and private shows throughout the tri-state region. Featuring both original songs and popular covers, Krieg's folky sound, along with guitarist Ray Massagli, is sure to be enjoyed by a wide variety of music fans.

The field at ARM & HAMMER Park will be filled with fun activities including a Dunk Tank and Speed Pitch ($1 for three throws, benefits Trenton Thunder Charities), a Corn Hole Tournament presented by Sonic of Ewing, NJ, the Wiffle Ball Hitting Challenge presented by Dick's Sporting Goods, and kid-friendly inflateables on the infield.

Outstanding Pork Roll inspired food items will also be made available at ARM & HAMMER Park at the Case's Pork Roll Paradise stand and satellite locations on the field. The Pig Pen (a bed of mashed potatoes, pulled pork, bacon bits, and chopped pork roll) headlines the pork roll inspired menu throughout the festival. The Hog Steak (chopped pork roll on a long roll with a Monterey jack cheese sauce), The Thunder Dog (3/4 lb hot dog with two slices of pork roll and melted American cheese), The Oink, Cluck, and Moo (classic breakfast style sandwich with Case's Pork Roll, egg, and American Cheese),The Trenton Burger (1/4 lb hamburger covered with melted American cheese and a slice of grilled Case's Pork Roll), The Swine Sandwich (slice of Case's grilled pork roll, melted American cheese, smothered in slow roasted pulled pork and bacon bits), and The Classic (two slices of pork roll with cheese) round out the menu.

Throughout the festival, fans of age can buy into The Ultimate Beer Special; a 12oz cup for $15 with refills for just $1 throughout the event. The craft selections for the event are:

- Victory Festbier (Downingtwon, PA)

In addition to the craft selections, Bud Light (draft and bottles), Budweiser (draft and bottles), and Michelob Ultra (draft) will be available at ARM & HAMMER Park.
